Prices of the post office are lower than FedEx in cases of lighter shipping weights therefore they can be more attractive. The more moderate prices are due to the lower qualities of the service. So before you choose postal parcel I’d like to inform you about the differences between the two shipping companies and the service they provide which results in price differences.

Shipping time

Post is slower and less calculable. Shipping deadline can be anything between 5-25 business days and it cannot be known in advance, which one it will be. If you are lucky you will get your package soon. If you are not then you have to be patient.

The same case with Fedex is 2-4 business days.

 

 

Tracking

Postal tracking is not reliable. Many different shipping companies (independent postal services) take part in taking the parcel to you in case of international packages. We have fairly good experiences with the Hungarian Post but not every country’s post office tracks their packages with the same conscientious attitude and some countries don’t track them at all. Therefore, it may happen that you will not see any information of your parcel. And that can be worrying.

At Fedex, the package gets registered within 2-3 hours after it is given to the dispatcher and from then you can track it coninually and calmingly where it is. If you purchased and item from us (or from anywhere else) for the first time and you don’t yet have good experiences from earlier, you don’t know how much you can trust them (100% by the way ;)) then this punctual information flow can help you ride out those days spent with waiting.

 

 

 

Safety

From our previous experiences with the post office, generally one of 10-15 parcels got lost. It happened that they found the package after 2-3 months but in each case, it was a bad experience for everyone. If you choose the post, do consider this please:  after giving your parcel to the shipping company we don’t have any power to influence successful shipping of the package. The only thing w ecan do here is offering you a safer option.

Our packages sent via Fedex have always arrived safely to their recipients. Only one company deals with the shipping and specifies quality requirements from the moment of giving the package to the dispatcher until you get it in your hands and therefore they can be more liable for their work.

 

Besides all these, above 1.5 – 2 kg shipping weight prices chane and Fedex’s prices are more favorable.

 

Some points to consider:

• We'll do our best to meet these shipping estimates but cannot guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose.
• Each product is read for shipment. We will ship items within 2 working days after we received the payment.
• We ship with Federal Express or Post Service Registered Mail within Europe. Outside Europe we ship via Federal Express.
• We cannot be held responsible for packages that are not delivered because the address given by the customer is inaccurate.
• Customs duties and taxes are the responsibilities of the customer.
